A wanderer, known only as Daniel, comes into town and finds himself investigating the mysterious killings that are keeping the villagers away from the local lake; Father Wolfsegg is going through changes. Changes that test his faith and his sanity. But those changes don't compare to the physical transformation that occurs to him.
